Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Merritt Island, FL to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering positive experiences for our communities. You will focus on merchandising and freight processing to keep shelves stocked and operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include assisting with all store functions, opening/closing, protecting assets, maintaining the stockroom and sales floor to company standards, and implementing corporate directives

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain store cleanliness and presentability; ensure a positive environment.
• Assist Store Manager with assigned duties, including freight flow and stocking.
• Plan, merchandise, and maintain display fixtures and monthly Sales Planners.
