Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and driving merchandising and freight processing.

You will handle opening/closing procedures, protect assets, stock areas, execute directives, and maintain a clean, safe store while delivering friendly customer service. Retail experience and supervisory skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail/management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical store duties.
• Team-oriented with high energy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process freight and merchandise to support sales.
• Plan and merchandise to keep the sales floor effective.
• Support monthly sales planning and related store activities.
