Job summary

Michaels Stores in Miami seeks a Merchandise Manager to lead merchandising and store operations, driving truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets and visual standards. You’ll ensure accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready environment with strong planning and stock control.

The role requires 3+ years of retail leadership, coaching abilities, and a hands-on approach to store execution, asset protection, and team development. Night/weekend shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Experience in store merchandising and operations.
• Ability to manage inventory and pricing accuracy.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in adhering to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Lead truck execution and ensure on-time unloading, sorting and stocking.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and ensure visuals meet company standards.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and initial product placement.
• Manage inventory control, stock movement, and shrink reduction activities.
• Execute ad sets, price changes, and promotional signage.
• Oversee Ship-from-Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processes.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing coaching.
• Support asset protection practices and store safety.
