Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Berea, Ohio. You will work with the Store Manager to lead a dynamic team, focus on merchandising and freight processing, and help with daily store operations and customer interactions.

Ideal candidates have prior retail and management experience and strong communication skills. The role requires physical tasks and a high-energy team environment, with safety and efficiency as priorities.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical store duties.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
