Job summary

Dollar Tree is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Alpharetta, GA to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise from delivery to floor, and help supervise and train store associates.

The role requires strong communication and teamwork, with responsibilities including opening/closing, policy compliance, loss prevention, and maintaining our standards of cleanliness and customer care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and move merchandise between delivery, stockroom, and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Follow corporate directives and store policies; ensure compliance.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, record-keeping and loss prevention.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
