Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Club Manager in Training to lead assigned departments, develop talent, and ensure operational excellence within the club.

The role prepares for advancement into one of three senior tracks: Merchandising, Perishables, or Member Experience. You will oversee daily operations, coach teams, and drive key performance metrics while maintaining gold-standard member service and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of retail store, supermarket, or warehouse operations management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience leading large teams and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic department leadership across assigned departments.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard team members.
• Oversee labor planning and scheduling to meet demand.
• Drive sales, inventory control, and shrink management.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation and safety standards.
