Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Richmond, Texas to support the Store Manager in leading a team and delivering a positive community experience. You will focus on merchandising, processing freight, and maintaining store standards with safety and customer service at the forefront.

The role requires prior retail and management experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the store.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
• Other duties as assigned.
