Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and driving merchandising and freight processing. You will help manage daily store operations and deliver great guest experiences.

The role emphasizes merchandising, stock control, safety, and collaboration with associates and leaders. You will handle freight, stock, and plan monthly merchandising efforts while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• Retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock areas, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Assist Store Manager with receipts, freight flow, and merchandise planning.
• Plan, merchandise, and maintain Clip Strips and Power Panels with sales items.
• Implement monthly Sales Planners.
