Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Cartersville, GA is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and driving merchandising and freight processing. You will assist with daily store operations, maintain clean, organized spaces, and ensure compliance with policies while delivering excellent customer experiences.

You will support the Store Manager with freight flow, merchandise replenishment including frozen & refrigerated items, and monthly Sales Planners.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties as part of the role.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain cleanliness and restock bathrooms and floors.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
