Job summary

KnitWell Group in New York seeks an Assistant Merchandiser to support departmental strategies and the product lifecycle. You will assist in building assortments, prepare reports, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive sales and inventory efficiency.

The role requires a fashion-related degree and at least 1 year in merchandising, with strong analytical and communication skills. On-site at the Ann Taylor office in NYC, with benefits including discounts and career development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in fashion-related field is required.
• At least 1 year of merchandising experience or related internships.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid knowledge of retail financial metrics.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and multi-tasking.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of departmental strategies and business objectives.
• Assist throughout the Product Life Cycle process.
• Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, and seasonal reports.
• Build, edit and maintain assortment sheets and reconcile receipts.
• Coordinate with Cross-Functional team and communicate updates.
• Support promotion strategies with Planning, Sourcing, and Marketing.
• Build relationships with cross-functional partners and drive results.
