Job summary

KnitWell Group, a leading fashion retailer, seeks an Assistant Merchandiser to support departmental strategies and the product lifecycle. You will assist in merchandising tasks, build and maintain assortment sheets, and help generate timely reports for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in fashion-related field is required.
• 1 year of related Merchandising experience or internship is required.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of retail financial measurements.
• Strong fashion sense aligned with brand and client needs.
• Broad business acumen with potential for growth to Merchandiser level.
• Active listening, direction-following, and strong time management.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-through and prioritization.
• Excellent organizational ability for multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well in a highly collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of departmental strategies and lifecycle processes.
• Assist Senior Merchandiser to meet financial plans.
• Generate and distribute weekly, monthly, and seasonal reports.
• Provide analysis of current business trends and market research.
• Maintain assortment sheets, receipts, and sample accuracy.
• Prepare documents for Product Lifecycle Meetings (Hindsight, Investment Review).
• Conduct research on pricing, style, and messaging of competitors.
• Build relationships with Cross-Functional partners and contribute to a high performing team.
• Support promotional and assortment strategies with Planning and Sourcing teams.
