Join to apply for the Merchandiser/Stocker - Hub role at O'Reilly Auto Parts

Keep the front floor area stocked, fronted, and clean; stock merchandise according to planograms or displays; complete sales preparation; and greet customers on the sales floor. May also serve as stock puller for installer area in large installer volume stores.

Essential Job Functions

1. Greet customers on the sales floor and assist them in locating merchandise or direct them to a parts specialist if hard parts are needed
2. Check in, price, and put up stock
3. Keep merchandise on the display floor fronted, full, and clean on a daily basis
4. Make display changes according to company guidelines, planograms, etc.
5. Make all out-front price changes
6. Ensure all "sale" signs are in place, sales flyer rack is stocked, and maintain sufficient quantities of sale merchandise on display
7. Remove all sale material when sale ends and restore original pricing
8. Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns
9. Work with manager to complete store To Do List and Team Weekly tasks; act as main shoplifting deterrent/front floor security
10. Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities
11. Clock in/out according to company policy
12. Coordinate with ISS to pull and stage installer deliveries for delivery specialists
13. Serve as communication liaison between ISS, delivery specialists, and store manager
14. Assist in determining most efficient and safest routes for delivery specialists
15. Coordinate and ensure completion of quarterly vehicle inspections and maintenance with ISS and delivery specialists
16. Perform housekeeping duties for back room and installer counter areas

Duties

May serve as HUB Store Order Puller – responsible for pulling parts quickly and accurately from pick tickets and preparing for delivery to stores serviced by the Hub store. Duties include:

1. Receiving orders from area stores to be pulled and shipped by delivery out of the Hub store
2. Pulling parts quickly and accurately as listed on the Stock Transfer ticket
3. Sorting parts by store location and placing in tub for delivery
4. Inspecting boxes for damage and ensuring part condition
5. Maintaining a clean and safe work area
6. Operating safely and being vigilant for unsafe practices

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

Required: Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences, good organizational skills.

Desired: Previous stocking experience, ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle, fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
