Job description

Compensation Pay Range:

$15.00 - $20.00

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance bonuses, or premiums that may be paid in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Responsibilities include keeping the front floor area stocked, clean, and fronted; stocking merchandise according to planograms or displays; completing sales preparation; and greeting customers on the sales floor. May also serve as stock puller for installer area in large volume stores.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  1. Greet customers on the sales floor and assist them in locating merchandise or direct them to a parts specialist if hard parts are needed.
  2. Check in, price, and stock merchandise.
  3. Maintain merchandise on the display floor, ensuring it is fronted, full, and clean daily.
  4. Make display changes according to company guidelines and planograms.
  5. Update all out-front price changes and ensure sale signs and flyers are properly displayed.
  6. Remove sale materials and restore original pricing when sales end.
  7. Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
  8. Collaborate with management on store tasks and act as security deterrent.
  9. Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
  10. Follow company policy for clocking in/out.
  11. Coordinate with ISS to pull and stage installer deliveries.
  12. Serve as communication liaison between ISS, delivery specialists, and store management.
  13. Help determine efficient and safe routes for deliveries and coordinate vehicle inspections and maintenance.
  14. Perform housekeeping duties in back room and installer areas.

May serve as HUB Store Order Puller: Responsible for pulling parts accurately from pick tickets for delivery, sorting, inspecting, and preparing parts for shipment.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

Required: Good aptitude for number sequences, organizational skills.

Desired: Previous stocking experience, ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle, fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
