Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking Store Team Members (Merchandisers) in Carmel, IN. You will maximize inventory, support online orders, and assist with curbside pickup and delivery while delivering an outstanding shopping experience.

You will greet customers, share product knowledge through training, and maintain store safety and cleanliness. Flexible scheduling, part- and full-time roles, and opportunities to grow are available within a supportive Total Rewards program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience, 1+ years in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, and supporting digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pick-up and delivery services.
• Deliver exceptional service by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to laws and regulations related to sale of alcohol and maintain a safe store environment.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• Load and deliver orders safely, following company policies and traffic/safety laws.
