Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co. is seeking a Merchandiser to manage merchandise in customer stores in the Columbus, OH area. The role requires lifting, travel between locations, and occasional overnights. You will set up plan-o-grams, stock products, and assist sales reps with retailer relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Good reasoning skills and common sense to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain set-up, plan-o-gram execution, stocking, fronting, and rotating products.
• Cover sales reps vacation by writing store orders and addressing damages.
• Provide merchandise service to retailers.
• Assist sales reps in maintaining relationships with retailers.
• Support internal communications between sales and retailers.
• Display merchandise with signage and favorable shelf placement.
• Arrive on location safely and on time with all requirements.
• Ensure proper stock levels in retailer stores.
• Overnight travel may be required.
