Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated is seeking a Merchandiser to present products at customer retail locations and service multiple bulk accounts. You will merchandise approved products and follow planograms with safe handling, communicating with store management and cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes visiting various accounts, following plan sets, and maintaining displays while upholding quality guidelines. Requires ability to lift 50 lbs and work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively to satisfy diverse customer needs.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs repeatedly).
• Able to work reliably and independently with little daily supervision.
• Strong critical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and special programs.
• Physically moves the product from the backroom and places it on display.
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials on display and shelve where permitted. Rotates product.
• Organizes and maintains back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor, returning pallets and shells as needed.
• Fosters business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests and opportunities.
