Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills to meet varied customer needs.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively).
• Able to work reliably and independently with little supervision.
• Strong critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and shelf per procedures.
• Moves products from backroom to display area.
• Creates and distributes point-of-sale materials where permitted; rotates and merchandises items.
• Organizes back room by stacking and arranging products; manages returns and damaged goods.
• Maintains good relationships with store personnel through follow-ups and proactive pricing.
