Job summary

American Greetings is a global leader in the Celebrations marketplace. Merchandisers work independently across various retail locations to display and maintain inventory of greeting cards, gift wrap, party goods, plush, and more. Route includes Salem, OR area with flexible hours and holiday peaks.

Starting pay is $15.80/hr, with increases to $16.70 after 6 months and $17.50 after 1 year. Training provided; 401(k) with company match available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Reliable transportation to service multiple locations.
• Reliable internet access for updates.
• Willingness to learn using a company-provided tablet.
• Occasional weekend work around major holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display product in greeting card departments and other locations.
• Maintain organized backrooms and handle inventory tasks.
• Communicate questions or schedule concerns with management.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with good time management.
• Build relationships with store staff during daytime hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around holidays.
• Assist with store resets as needed and handle light fixture work.
