Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a Part-Time Merchandiser to work across multiple retail locations in Appleton, WI, maintaining inventory and displaying greeting cards, gift wrap, and related items. You will manage routes, coordinate with store staff, and ensure timely merchandising tasks are completed.

No prior experience is required; we train new merchandisers and offer flexible scheduling with weekend work around holidays. Training is paid and a 401(k) with company match is provided.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Access to reliable transportation as most routes have multiple retail locations.
• Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates.
• Technological competency—able to learn and use company provided tablet for training and daily activity/tasks.
• Meet scheduling needs - weekends and days around major holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display product within greeting card departments and other locations; maintain backroom areas and inventory tasks.
• Communicate with management regarding service or schedule questions.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Assist with store resets or minor fixture work as needed.
• Plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
