Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple retail locations, including greeting card departments and backrooms. You will manage inventory, display products, and ensure store standards while working a daytime schedule on a set route.

Training is provided, and transportation to stores is required. Starting pay is $13.50 per hour with scheduled increases after 6 months and 1 year.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English is required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Access to reliable transportation as most routes have multiple retail locations.
• Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates.
• Technological competency—able to learn and use company provided tablet for training and daily activity/tasks.
• Meet scheduling needs – weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders, displaying product within greeting card departments and other locations.
• Communicate with management any questions or concerns regarding service or schedules.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with time-management and organizational skills.
• Build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime retail hours.
• Availability for additional days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Provide occasional assistance with store resets including fixtures and product assembly.
• Plan weekly service schedule and workload in assigned stores using a company tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
