Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple retail locations in Gaithersburg, MD. You will display and maintain inventory of cards, gift wrap, and party goods, using a company tablet to plan weekly routes and schedules.

Training is provided and independence is encouraged with holiday-season flexibility. No experience is required; candidates must be 18+, able to lift 40 pounds, and have reliable transportation and internet access.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Access to reliable transportation for multiple locations.
• Access to reliable internet for job updates.
• Comfortable using a company-provided tablet for training and daily tasks.
• Availability for weekends and holiday periods as needed.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display products in greeting card departments and other locations; maintain backrooms.
• Communicate questions or schedule concerns to management.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with good time management.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Provide extra days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets including minor fixture work or product assembly.
