Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple retail locations in Giddings, Paige, and surrounding areas. You will display and maintain inventory for greeting cards, gift wrap, and party goods, using a company-provided tablet.

The role requires reliable transportation and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Training is provided, with pay starting at $12.20 per hour and increases after 6 months and after 1 year of employment.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Access to reliable transportation for multi-location routes.
Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates.
Tech-savviness to use company-provided tablet for training and daily tasks.

Responsibilities

Service stores on your assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders.
Display product within greeting card departments and maintain backroom areas.
Communicate with management regarding service needs and schedules.
Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management and organization.
Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours.
Be available for additional days and extended hours around major holidays.
Assist with store resets, fixture work, and product relocation as needed.
Review and plan weekly service schedule using a company tablet.
