Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC in North Carolina seeks a Merchandiser to present products at customer retail locations, service multiple bulk accounts, and follow planograms with safe handling practices. The route will service New Bern and surrounding areas.

The position offers mileage reimbursement for travel between stores and requires a valid in-state driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in retail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to serve diverse customers.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs repeatedly).
• Able to work independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and shelf per procedures.
• Physically moves product from backroom to display.
• Creates and distributes point-of-sale materials on display and shelf, rotates product.
• Organizes back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor.
• Fosters relationships with store personnel and follows up on requests and opportunities.
