Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking a Merchandiser to present products in retail locations and maintain multiple accounts, following planograms and safe handling guidelines.

You will stock displays, move products from backroom to shelf, create point-of-sale materials, organize the back room, and foster daily follow-ups with store personnel to discuss promotions and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to satisfy diverse customers.
• Able to lift 50 lbs repetitively.
• Reliable and independent with minimal supervision.
• Strong critical thinking abilities.
• Company provided cell phone.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures.
• Physically moves the product from the backroom to the display.
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials and rotates products; checks vendor operations.
• Organizes back room by stacking and arranging products and managing pallets.
• Fosters relationships with store personnel through follow-up on requests and promotions.
