Job description

Greet customers on the sales floor and assist them in locating merchandise or direct them to a parts specialist if needed.

Check out customers, handle transactions efficiently, and deter shoplifters to maintain security.

Keep the front area stocked, fronted, and clean daily, following planograms or display guidelines.

Update displays and pricing as per company standards, ensuring sale signs and flyers are correctly placed and removed after sales end.

Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, overstock returns, and work with management on store tasks.

Act as the main deterrent for shoplifting and assist with front floor security.

Participate in O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities and adhere to company policies on clocking in/out.

For cashier duties: Check out customers quickly and friendly, handle returns, and assist in busy times with ticketing and payment processing.

Skills and qualifications include: Good numerical aptitude, interpersonal, organizational skills, and previous cashier or stocking experience preferred.

Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle and fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is highly desirable.
