Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Manager at the YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, NY store to drive merchandising and operational execution, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards.

You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promos, and a customer-ready store through strong workload planning and inventory management. This role requires 3+ years of retail leadership, hands-on floor leadership, and hands-on stock and planogram execution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards and accountability for store conditions/results.
• Provide MOD coverage and daily floor leadership.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting and floor flow of merchandise.
• Plan workload and prioritize tasks with store leadership to match staffing and business needs.
• Execute and maintain Store-In-Stock Optimization routines for in-stock levels and replenishment.
