Job summary

Hockey Western New York, LLC is seeking a merchandise sales role to handle setup, display, product selling, inventory, and credit-card settlements at arena events including Sabres games and other events.

The position requires customer service experience, POS familiarity, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will maintain professional appearance and assist customers with superior service while following arena policies.

• Point of Sale Terminal (POS) system experience preferred.

Job description

This role is in charge of the selling of merchandise at the arena for Sabres games and non-hockey events.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the set-up and display of merchandise location, selling product, stand cleanliness, performing inventories and settling credit cards sales at the conclusion of each event.
• Ensure that customers are serviced at the highest level of customer service.
• Responsible for following arena and department policies and procedures
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
• Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned or as they become evident.
• Product knowledge and stock replenishment.

Compensation

This role will pay an hourly rate of $16.00 plus commission.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• This role operations in both an office setting and in a live events setting. Live event coverage does consist of being around loud stadium noises and crowds.
• While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, run, reach, kneel, and crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and focused vision. Candidate must be able to lift and move boxes and merchandise of 50lbs.
