Job summary

Hockey Western New York, LLC is seeking a part-time Box Office Customer Service Rep to support Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bandits, and other events at KeyBank Center. You will sell tickets, answer inquiries, assist fans with purchases, and handle box office tasks on event days.

The role requires strong customer service, cash handling, and computer skills; you must be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays and be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sell tickets at the Box Office windows and over the phone.
• Work in Account Services, Box Office, Suite Services or Guest Services on event days.
• Communicate schedules; answer questions about game day information and promotions.
• Assist with data entry and bulk mailers as needed.
• Work with Ticket Sales and Ticket Operations to execute programs.
• Process and balance payments accurately and timely.
• Count drawer at end of shift and submit to management on duty.
• Answer incoming calls and emails; assist fans with ticket purchases.
• Staff temporary box office for events at LECOM Harborcenter and handle sales.

Summary

The Box Office Customer Service Representative will provide support and excellent customer service for the Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bandits and all other events at KeyBank Center.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Sell tickets at the Box Office windows and over the phone, work in Account Services, Box Office, Suite Services or Guest Services on event days.
• Communicate team schedules, answer routine questions such as game day information, upcoming promotions, provide season ticket holder benefit information as needed through email, mail, and phone.
• Work on office projects such as data entry, bulk mailers, etc.
• Work with Ticket Sales, and Ticket Operations as needed to assist with execution of programs.
• Process and balance payments in an accurate and timely manner.
• Count drawer at the end of shift and submit drawer to management on duty.
• Answering incoming telephone calls, emails, and assists fans with their ticket purchases.
• Staff temporary box office for events at LECOM Harborcenter and handle ticket sales, will call and customer service
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications for the Position:

• High School degree
• Customer Service experience required.
• High level computer skills, computerized ticketing experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic, job reliability and be able to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to work unconventional hours to include nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be available to work at least 50% of events scheduled each month.

Compensation & Hours

This role pays $16.00 an hour. This is a part-time role and must have the flexibility to work extended hours, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Work Environment & Physical Demands.

This role operates in both an office setting and in a live events setting. Live event coverage does consist of being around loud stadium noises and crowds.

Candidate must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving boxes up to 20 pounds.
