Job summary

The Dollywood Theme Park is seeking a Merchandise Team Lead to oversee daily retail operations and guest experiences at Dollywood. This on-site role leads front-line Hosts, manages scheduling, and drives sales while maintaining safety standards and brand standards.

Responsibilities include training, budgeting, loss prevention, visual displays, and ensuring excellent service. Eligibility requires 6 months supervisory experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months supervisory experience.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Experience with accounts payable functions.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Merchandise POS and inventory systems; Pronto software is a plus.
• Ability to safely operate company vehicles; valid driver’s license and driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation of Merchandise retail, games and/or leased retail business to achieve revenue/expense goals and guest experience.
• Lead front-line workers using Lead with Love principles for teamwork and conflict resolution.
• Hire, onboard, schedule and develop Hosts; training, coaching and growth opportunities.
• Promote safety culture with a safety plan and regulatory compliance.
• Manage operational budgets for assigned areas and revenues.
• Maintain department visual display standards and shop appearance per guidelines.
• Oversee cash handling and loss prevention per PCI standards.
• Ensure equipment is serviced and functioning; report deficiencies.
