Job summary

Michaels Torrington store is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promos, and a customer-ready store through strong workload planning and inventory management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Ensure execution of company policies and standards, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership, service standards, and operational continuity.
• Lead truck execution processes, unloading, sorting, and flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization, coordinating staffing with store leadership.
• Oversee Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution, ensuring merchandising sets are completed on schedule.
• Establish and maintain visual merchandising standards and product presentation.
• Support a clean, organized, customer-ready store environment including backroom and floor.
