Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Danbury, CT is seeking an energetic Receiving/Merchandising Associate to uphold store standards and deliver a great customer experience.

You will help organize backrooms, process truck deliveries, tag and stage merchandise, and support daily store operations as part of a collaborative team. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of retail experience and some leadership exposure, enjoy fast-paced environments, and can train others.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership exposure.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Able to train others and guide teammates.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient store operations.
• Orchestrate truck deliveries and prioritize merchandise flow to the sales floor.
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Maintain backroom organization and merchandising signage; support shrink reduction and safety initiatives.
