Job summary

Legends Global in Dallas is seeking a Merchandise Sales Associate to enhance the game day retail experience at the American Airlines Center. You will provide enthusiastic service, upsell merchandise, and ensure displays are polished and inviting.

Working 35–40+ hours per week with event-driven shifts, you must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and handle POS transactions with accuracy while collaborating with a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and sales skills with the ability to engage diverse fan groups.
• Ability to receive and apply feedback to improve performance.
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and overtime during events.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in a retail or customer service environment.
• Accuracy in handling cash, POS transactions, and opening/closing procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain standing for long periods.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Availability for 35–40+ hours per week, with flexibility to assist in other areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide an enthusiastic welcome to guests as they enter the Merchandise location and informing them of the in-store policy regarding open food and beverage items while shopping.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by identifying their needs and making personalized sales recommendations.
• Maintain an energetic, positive, and engaging atmosphere for both fans and team members.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems with accuracy and efficiency.
• Present and upsell merchandise by highlighting features, benefits, and promotions.
• Support merchandising standards, including plan-o-gram execution, product placement, and visual displays.
• Assist with store set-up, restocking, cleaning, and maintaining an organized sales floor.
• Participate in inventory management, including counts, accuracy checks, and control procedures.
• Stay informed on current promotions, in-store events, and venue events to better assist fans.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure gift shop/event retail locations are prepared and visually appealing.
• All other duties as assigned.

The Merchandise Sales Associate plays a key role in creating an unforgettable game day experience for fans. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Provide an enthusiastic welcome to guests as they enter the Merchandise location and informing them of the in-store policy regarding open food and beverage items while shopping. Staff will also wish guests a fond farewell upon their exit.

• Deliver exceptional customer service by identifying their needs and making personalized sales recommendations.

• Maintain an energetic, positive, and engaging atmosphere for both fans and team members.

• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems with accuracy and efficiency.
