Job summary

St. Matthew’s House in Naples, FL seeks a Merchandise Pick-Up associate to support store merchandising and guest service. You will assemble and place products, assist guests with loads, and uphold presentation standards while maintaining safety and a welcoming environment.

Experience in retail and POS familiarity is preferred; you will lift heavy items (up to 75 lbs) with assistance and participate in events as scheduled. This role supports our mission and daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail and sales background preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage time, prioritize tasks and balance sales floor activity.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting, assisting and thanking guests.
• Answer the telephone with proper etiquette.
• Lift and move furniture and large merchandise using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
• Maintain the sales floor appearance and safety compliance.
• Help unload merchandise and process items as needed.
• Communicate daily with leadership about needs.
• Handle a high workload with a strong work ethic.
• Share the mission of St. Matthew’s House with guests and the public.
• Participate in store events as scheduled by Store Manager.
• Perform duties and take on additional responsibilities as directed by Store Manager.
