Job summary

St. Matthew’s House in Naples, Florida seeks a friendly Cashier to greet guests, assist shoppers, and support daily store operations in a faith-based nonprofit setting, on-site.

You will handle cash with accuracy, operate the POS system and rewards program, deliver exceptional customer service, and assist with events as scheduled in a fast-paced environment. Confidentiality is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail and sales experience preferred.

• Physical: Standing, walking, bending for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Manage cash wrap and balance cash accurately.
• Answer phone calls with professional etiquette.
• Operate POS system and explain rewards program to guests.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming cash wrap area.
• Share the mission of St. Matthew’s House with guests and public.
• Assist with store events as scheduled by Store Manager.
• Perform duties and additional responsibilities as directed by Store Manager.
