St. Matthew’s House is seeking a part-time Merchandise Pick-Up associate to support the store's merchandising vision and guest service in Southwest Florida.

This role involves assembling and placing product, attracting guest attention, and helping guests with loadouts while maintaining a welcoming sales floor. Experience in retail and sales is preferred, with emphasis on effective communication and customer service.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Retail and Sales Background Preferred. Effective communication and customer service skills required.
• Confidentiality: Works with confidential information.
• Mental/Visual Demands: Flow of work requires normal mental and visual capabilities.
• Working Conditions: Schedule flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical Demands: Standing, walking, reaching, bending, stooping; may lift up to 75 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out the merchandising vision for the store.
• Ensure product is properly assembled and placed; attract guest attention.
• Assist guests with loadouts and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain the appearance of the sales floor and safety compliance.
• Help unload merchandise transfer trucks and process items as needed.
• Communicate needs to leadership daily.
• Participate in store events as scheduled by Store Manager.
• Perform duties and take on responsibilities as directed by Store Manager.
