Job summary

Five Below in Buford, GA is seeking an experienced Store Manager on Duty to lead daily operations, oversee staff, and ensure outstanding customer service while executing corporate guidelines.

You will manage inventory, displays, schedules, and training, with a focus on driving sales, controlling expenses, and maintaining safety and compliance in a fast-paced, value-driven retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for efficient placement on the sales floor.
• Set up and maintain displays; ensure accurate signage and promotions follow corporate resets and seasonal updates.
• Manage opening/closing procedures including cash, doors, alarms, and daily operations.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed to lead store operations, staff, and customer service.
• Supervise daily activities of store associates and ensure quality performance.
• Assist onboarding and training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Execute market plans for product placement and updated promotional materials.
• Ensure Inventory Integrity processes are followed.
