What Sets You Apart

Orlando City SC is seeking a Merchandise Manager responsible for overseeing the day-to-day merchandise sales and operations for Orlando City SC, Orlando Pride, and Inter&Co Stadium. Assist the Sr. Director of Merchandise & Licensing with the Club’s retail strategy, partner relations, drive strategic business strategies, and meet departmental goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Support Orlando City, Orlando Pride, and Inter&Co Stadium merchandise operations
  2. Assist in executing the merchandise business plan, monitor retail performance, and identify growth opportunities
  3. Meet or exceed sales goals
  4. Collaborate with all departments to meet merchandising needs
  5. Support department budget adherence, payroll, purchase orders, and vendor payments
  6. Assist with promotional events and merchandise operations
  7. Fulfill merchandise requests promptly
  8. Recruit and manage merchandise staff
  9. Maintain ShopOrlandoPride.com operations
  10. Provide excellent customer service to fans and clients
  11. Work with new vendors and licensees
  12. Assist with strategy, product sales, inventory, and creation
  13. Maintain relationships with in-venue retailers
  14. Travel as needed for MLS and NWSL Retail Summits
  15. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

We value passion for soccer and a team-oriented attitude. Candidates should possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Merchandise Marketing, or related field (preferred)
  • 1-3 years’ experience in retail, marketing, or merchandising operations
  • Management experience (strongly preferred)
  • Knowledge of soccer fundamentals (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Teamwork and independence skills
  • Creativity and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Photoshop (preferred)
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese (a plus)
