Job summary

Forman Mills seeks a Merchandise Manager to oversee merchandising operations for assigned departments, including layout, features, promo setup, and loss prevention. You will act as Manager on Duty, supporting HR tasks and ensuring policy adherence.

You will drive sales growth, manage budgets, and lead a team to meet store goals while maintaining high presentation standards and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in budgeting, merchandising and store operations.
• Ability to lead, recruit, develop and retain top performers.
• Strong communication and customer service leadership.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed budgeted sales daily and drive KPIs.
• Direct daily activities across assigned departments incl. merchandising and ad sets.
• Train and develop department leads and team members.
• Open/close store per direction; assist in staffing and scheduling.
• Evaluate and counsel staff in partnership with Store Manager.
• Ensure flawless execution of company initiatives (ad sets, markdowns, freight, detail recovery).
• Ensure outstanding customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Audit operational controls and deter theft with visible management presence.
