Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Merchandise Manager for our Wake Forest, NC location. The role drives merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to create a customer-ready store environment.

You will lead workload planning, coordinate with store leadership, and ensure timely pricing, promotional execution, and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Able to stand long periods and move around store.
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, and merchandise flow to the sales floor.
• Oversee planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Manage inventory accuracy, stock movement, and in-stock readiness.
• Provide MOD coverage, maintain floor leadership, service standards, and operational continuity.
