Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Walnut, CA seeks a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets and visual standards. You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready store environment.

Responsibilities include leading SOP adherence, policy execution, MOD coverage, truck and inventory control, planogram, and staff development to sustain high in-stock levels and shrink reduction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience enforcing SOPs and company programs.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in SOP compliance and policies.
• Maintain store conditions, service standards, and visual merchandising.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and floor leadership.
• Lead truck processing, pricing, and merchandise flow to sales floor.
• Plan workload and staffing with store leadership.
