Job summary

The Michael's Companies in Sparks, NV is seeking a part-time Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising execution and operational standards. You will lead truck processing, planogram implementation, pricing accuracy, and in-stock optimization while coaching staff and maintaining visual standards.

Maintain a customer-ready environment with backroom organization and safety compliance; oversee inventory control and promotions, and ensure timely ad sets and pricing across floors and systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enforce SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain store leadership.
• Oversee truck execution, unloading, and flow to the sales floor.
• Plan workload and adjust staffing with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines for inventory health.
• Ensure accurate Planogram execution and visual standards.
• Maintain a customer-ready store environment with backroom organization.
• Manage inventory control, pricing changes, and promotions.
• Oversee Ship from Store, RTVs, and ASN receiving processes.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and coaching.
• Support Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
