Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Merchandise Manager in Paramus, NJ to drive merchandising and operational execution across truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, pricing accuracy, and promotional execution. Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and model adherence to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards; hold team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage; maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee truck execution, unloading, sorting, and merchandising flow to the sales floor.
• Plan workloads and daily tasks; coordinate staffing with store leadership to meet goals.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to improve in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram execution; ensure merchandising sets are completed on schedule.
• Establish and maintain visual merchandising standards and product presentation.
• Maintain clean, organized store environment and backroom organization for customers.
• Manage inventory control, product accuracy, integrity, and stock movement.
