Job summary

Goodwill of Greater Washington is seeking a detail-oriented team member to support inventory and donation processing in a fast-paced retail environment. You will sort, price, and prepare donated merchandise for the sales floor, ensuring items are categorized and displayed for customers.

Responsibilities include transferring and logging merchandise, maintaining safe, clean work areas, and assisting donors and shoppers with friendly service.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math and read/write simple instructions.
• Strong reading and writing comprehension.
• Clear verbal communication with team members and donors.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Sort and process donated merchandise for the sales floor.
• Transfer merchandise and categorize by quality and salability.
• Ensure items are displayed neatly with appropriate pricing and tagging.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and uniform standards.
• Assist donors and customers with service as needed.
