Job summary

TJX Companies’ HomeGoods store in Shorewood, IL is hiring a Receiving/Merchandising Associate. You will execute receiving and merchandising standards, ensure efficient processing, and deliver an outstanding customer experience while keeping the store clean and organized.

You’ll train teammates, tag and rotate stock, and help drive shrink reduction and safety. A retail background with leadership exposure is valued, along with strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changes.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards and ensure efficient processing.
• Engage customers to provide an excellent experience and maintain store clean/organized.
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Organize back stock and ensure proper tagging, hanging, coding.
• Coordinate with Coordinator on Duty to ensure flow of goods to the floor.
• Promote safety and comply with labor laws and policies.
