Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc.'s TJ Maxx store in Waldorf, MD is seeking a Store Associate to deliver a top-quality customer experience and uphold all store operations. You will engage customers, process purchases, promote credit and loyalty programs, and help maintain a clean, organized sales floor.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced retail environment. Retail experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and following store standards.
• Ring purchases/returns and count cash according to procedures; promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain merchandising standards and prepare merchandise for the sales floor.
• Support store recovery, cleanliness, safety, and loss prevention efforts.
• Other duties as assigned.
