Job description

Beauty Brands is hiring a Merchandise Coordinator who is passionate about the latest beauty products, detail-oriented, and organized. Our team of associates provide excellent customer service and help drive engagement that supports our store sales.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain store merchandise inventory integrity, including cleanliness of the stock room.
  • Receive shipment in a timely manner; 24 / 48 hours after delivery.
  • Maintain organized records of all merchandise shipments and transfers.
  • Complete weekly reports to resolve issues with shipping inaccuracies or discrepancies in clearance sales.
  • Ensure that all RTVs, breakdowns, returned merchandise, clearance, and price change procedures are performed accurately and timely.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of the shelf label process and ensuring that the store shelves are faced correctly.
  • Implement updated weekly merchandise guidelines and manufacturer's display list.
  • Training our Retail Associates on the shelf label process and the planogram process; oversee GWP and planogram changes.
  • Review merchandising updates on company Intranet page daily.
  • Attend all physical inventories, and all required product sets.
  • Meet attendance, punctuality, and required work guidelines, including following all company policies.
  • Ensure store safety and security measures are followed.
  • Attend required Education classes and store meetings (as set by manager).

Qualifications

Prerequisites

  • Demonstrated record of strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • 6 mo + experience in inventory management.
  • Available to work weekly on shipment day and the following day.

Physical Job Requirements

  • Product receiving and preparation : opening and lifting boxes, carrying products, and boxes of up to 50 lbs.
  • Merchandising product : requires bending, stretching to reach shelves, lifting products and fixture shelves, and occasional work on a ladder.
  • Inventory assistance : requires bending, stretching to reach shelves, and lifting merchandise.
