Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Merchandising Support Associate in Secaucus, NJ area. You will liaise between DC Operations and Corporate Merchandising, ensuring timely delivery of priority merchandise and accurate product data in our systems.

You will monitor the SCAN system, send samples to Home Office teams, manage vendor returns, and maintain files for the Merchandising Department. A Bachelor's degree is preferred; 1–2 years of experience and strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years merchandising experience.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Highly organized with multitasking ability.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Flexible and able to adjust to priority updates.
• Apparel retail management experience is a major plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion/Merchandising or Business/Management or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Liaison and problem solver between DC Operations & Corporate Merchandising Departments.
• Communicate product inflow details to DC Merchandise Control and Corporate HO Management.
• Oversee priority merchandise with store delivery timelines to ensure timely location and delivery.
• Monitor and audit internal system (SCAN) for accurate product information.
• Send samples and pictures of product to Home Office planning teams.
• Manage merchandise returns to vendors.
• Maintain all necessary files for Merchandising Department.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
• Be available for all DC shift schedules.
