Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Helping with hiring, training, and development of store associates.
3. Performing all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed.
4. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting company assets, including store cash.
6. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
7. Maintaining store areas to company standards, including recovery.
8. Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
9. Processing all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
10. Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, managing freight flow, and stock organization.
11. Ensuring the sales floor is sales-effective daily and planning merchandising strategies.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to thrive in a high-energy, team environment.
