Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
3. Performing all store functions and daily activities as directed.
4. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting store assets, including cash, and adhering to all policies and safety guidelines.
6. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
7. Maintaining store areas to company standards, including recovery.
8. Taking supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
9. Processing all corporate directives and store communications.
10. Assisting with merchandise receipt, return, and freight management.
11. Ensuring stockroom organization and sales floor effectiveness.
12. Assisting in planning, merchandising, and maintaining sales displays and monthly sales planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
