Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Helping with hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated.
• Performing all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Handling opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including cash.
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensuring store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, meet company standards, including recovery.
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Managing freight flow and assisting with merchandise receipt and return.
• Ordering and stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Maintaining stockroom organization and ensuring the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
• Planning and maintaining merchandising displays and sales planners.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
